Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Rebecca Tocher-Richmond, BA, BPHE,
ND
I received my
Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies and Bachelor of Physical Health
Education from Queen's University. In
2001, I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine
in Toronto
as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. After
working on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton for several years, I moved
to St. Albert and opened the St. Albert Naturopathic Clinic with my
husband,
Dr. David Richmond. I continue to work as
a recruiter for my alma mater, the Canadian College of
Naturopathic Medicine and have held the role of registrar for our
provincal association. I have always loved
athletics and competed in many triathlons and marathons, including the
Boston
Marathon. Now I balance life between work
and our family with two young children. Based on my experiences, I have
a
special interest in treating women's health conditions, fertility and
pediatrics. I look forward to helping you
reach your
health goals.
Dr. David Richmond, BSc, ND
I approach life with enthusiasm and a passion for
teaching others to heal themselves. I studied Biomedical Science
and recieved my Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph in
Ontario. Faced with a variety of career options, Naturopathic
Medicine's philosophy and approach to caring and fostering healing
stood out among the rest. I then completed the four year
program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in
Toronto in order to achieve my goal. I have been involved with
the political aspect of
Naturopathic Medicine and have held the positions of
secretary, registrar and treasurer for
the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners. I am proud
to live
and work in the wonderful community of St. Albert and to offer
Naturopathic care as part of a husband and wife team. My life is
rounded out with two wonderful young children, Owen and Mya.

I am a huge endorser of Naturopathic Medicine, since it has
dramatically improved my health as well as that of my family. I
enjoy seeing patients at the clinic improve their health, giving them a
better quality of life. In order to stay healthy, I
understand the importance of physical activity and keep fit with
soccer, golf and skiing.
